Stuff We Love

Finding the best deals used to take a lot of effort. Now with sites like Cheap Tweet you can just sit back and let the deals fill your Twitter feed.

Each day the site’s search engine prowls more than 30,000 tweets about deals and picks the best ones. They rank the deals based on users’ votes and by how much they are being re-tweeted on Twitter. You can add Cheap Tweets to your feed or, if you aren’t a Twitter user, you can simply visit their site and view the updated feed there.

For a more personalized potential savings experience, you can sign up for a feature called the “Deal Stream” where you can check off the categories (fashion, tech, entertainment, food, and more) of things you’d be interested in finding deals on. One problem is that while you do get a ton of deals, you get a ton of deals. Some deals, like a gift card giveaway for a restaurant in Rhode Island, aren’t of any use to many people.
